We would like to announce that Mr. Dan Stratford has taken on the new role of Deputy Principal at UDIS. Dan will take on two key responsibilities at the school: Deputy Principal and Curriculum Coordinator. As such, he will be in charge of teaching and learning at the school. The following details these roles more:
Deputy Principal
The Deputy Principal (DP) is in charge of all teaching and learning at the school and will be acting HOS when the HOS is not present. The DP will provide performance management for all teachers at the school and will provide discipline and pastoral care for students. Currently the Deputy Principal and Curriculum Coordinator roles have been combined.
Curriculum Coordinator
The curriculum coordinator is tasked with responsibility for all aspects of the provision of the National Curriculum of England (NCE) and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in conjunction with the development of inquiry within the school. Most importantly, the role of the coordinator is to provide effective management of resources (people, time and money) to ensure the enhancement of the teaching and learning in order to address the overarching mission of the school.

As the Deputy Principal is a new role, we have reorganised the leadership structure of the school. This is now as follows:
