We would like to invite you to a parent’s curriculum session on Thursday 7th May from 3:10pm to 4:15pm. The session will involve three fun activity stations which parents would rotate around.
Activities include:
K1/K2 Language activity
Y1/Y2 Math activity
Y3/4 Science activity
Parents would spend up to 15 minutes on each activity before moving to the next one. So, by the end of the session you would have been able to experience all three stations.
The activities are all based on the central idea that plants are a life sustaining resource for us and other living things. The activities show how one central idea can be incorporated into different subject areas to accomplish different objectives.
The aim of the session is to provide a fun introduction into children learn at our school. In later weeks, we will be holding further sessions into how units are planned and other aspects of our school. This is all part of our effort to prepare our school and community to become an IB world school as we seek candidacy in October.
On Thursday, the school bus would leave at 4:15pm taking home children whose parents have not attended the curriculum session.
So, we look forward to seeing you all on Thursday. It should be a fun session.
